I really feel sorry for honest, hard working people who gave any type of money to the GOP during the last couple of months. I'm sure hard-working people had no idea that their money would be used to by fancy suits. Hypocrisy is a terrible thing.

And they complain about how Obama has more money to spend on ads. Unfortunately, "personal responsibility" has become more a GOP talking point than an actual GOP trait.

150K is a great deal considering she looks like a million bucks!!!

She could take off her clothes entirely, save the 150K and have more of an effect on the slack-jawed "she's hot....I'm voting for her" crowd.

Sounds like good capitalism to me. If you figure out the greatest pool of investor money can be drawn from source A rather than source B, even though you originally were going to draw from source B, then the smart thing to do is to change your mind.

Wasn't McCain going to run a clean advertising campaign? He lied about that according to your thinking, but I don't blame him for it. He was smart to change his mind.

It is funny the only come back is Obama spends money too. No facts just accusations that still don't come close to the level of the this....

Look if you don't like the guy (which is fine) at least back it up with something credible...

As for she is under a microscope..WTH? Is she not running for VP of the USA? Gee, you'd think she was running for the Girl Scouts with all of this aww crap...she wanted to be on the ticket...she wants to run with the big dogs..shut the hell up and roll with the punches...

It's just one thing after another with Sarah Palin, isn't it. She still doesn't know what the VP job entails, and now this. Not that the shopping sprees were her fault--his campaign staff apparently had bad judgement. Even worse judgement than McCain had when he picked his VP.

Wanna know how you much the Palin pick hurt McCain? This forum is a prime example. Believe it or not, this was a very pro-republican site over the summer. Obama was being bashed left and right, and about 85% of the posts glorified McCain. If you don't believe me, look through the archives.

...and then Sarah Palin was picked. Overnight there was a flood of new posters. The whole dynamic of this forum changed. The Palin jokes kept flying, and there always seemed to be some fresh new ditzy thing to laugh about. Suddenly this was a pro-Obama site, and it never went back to the way it was last summer.

And that's how it's been everywhere. McCain was doing pretty well up until the Palin pick. But his campaign never really recovered from the damage of choosing the wrong VP.

John Edwards was charging his $400+ haircuts to his campaign and if memory serves me, Hillary had some issues about spending.

This woman is running for VP, not going on a job interview as a greeter at WalMart.
