There are days where I wish I had never started following politics. I am glad that I am more informed than someone who does not, but some days my head feels like it is going to explode! Are you ever jealous of the people who go through their days without anger and fear about the election because they have no idea what is going on around them?

Kristine

I don't take any politicians serously. I have prospered with both parties in office. Don't really care who wins but I do find liberals sort of strange.

Sometimes, but for the most part it's been exciting and I'm learning so much. I feel like I was in the dark about so much prior and I will never go back to being uninformed that way So I'm grateful for this election season!

Oh, but they will vote in droves. You have people who know nothing about the issues. The little Obama people who think Palin is his running mate, think he's pro-life, and supports the war will help to raise his chance of winning. There should be a law...................

I'm glad I started to follow politics. I wish a few of the posters here on CD had not.

You were listening to Neal Boortz today too, huh?

As an aspiring govt. teacher, keeping informed about this is part of my job. A few issues get my dander up, and make me worry, but I've learned not to get too worked up. It's not healthy. We did fine under Republicans and Democrats, so I don't worry a ton about this election. Besides, I see either administration as an improvement on the current one.

Sometimes I do feel that way, yes. But then I'd hate to go back to years ago, when I passed by people on the sidewalk who were discussing candidates and all I really knew was that I was against capital punishment and I had no semblance of a real understanding of anything else (including that issue, really).

I'm baffled by people who claim apathy, who say they have no political views. I just don't know how that's possible.
