No, that's just what her detractors are saying. I don't see where you get this.

Michelle buys her OWN clothing. you do not know much about fashion do you OP. Here is the difference. Cindy who is rich on her own.. shows up to an event with a 40k dress on, while Michelle's might cost 5k. You have to look good at these things but you can look Great being thrifty too. as Michelle has proven in her 100 buck sundress and 5k ballgowns. Compared to 1500 item palin had them buy.. there is a big difference here....

none of that matters though. Michelle BUYS HER OWN.

Well, who paid for them? And it's a far cry from $1200 to $150,000! Less than 1%!

Oh so it is ok for Michelle Obama to spend 1200.00 on 1 pair of shoes?

You try and you try to help them understand but, sometimes, regardless of what you do, you fail, .

G** d*** it, yes, if she pays for them herself! I simply don't understand why you don't see the difference! Michelle didn't pay for them with campaign contributions, if she did indeed pay that much for a pair of shoes. Here these proper Repubs, some of whom dress rather "dowdy" gave this money for the campaign, and the RNC is using it for this? Not just Palin, but Todd, Bristol, Levi, Willow, Piper and Trig!
