Assuming Obama wins the election how long will it take him to raises EVERYBODIES taxes.

I say within the first 90-120 days.

Moot point. The US is working on a trillion dollar deficit. Other than raising taxes what is your solution?

I was asking the question to see what others thought. I'm sure plenty of Obama supporters on here are still convinced they are getting a tax cut.

Taxes aren't as important as spending. Obama will have to work through a budget deficit that amounts to a whopping 4% of the GDP (not the federal budget, the nation's GDP). I think they're both full of crap about it. Taxes are going up -- way up -- or the government is going to have to collapse. Anything other than a massive tax increase is plain denial.

bleh.. Obama is not raising everyones taxes. and noone is getting anything without working. please grow up. looks to me like he lowering taxes for most *everyone* except the crooked corportations that make windfall profits yet keep raising prices..
