After reading the 2008 Presidential Election threads on C-D are you worried about the level of intelligence voting in the USA?

Very much. After hearing about Howard Stern's experiment asking people on the street if they were pleased about Obama's anti-abortion stance and his choice of Sara Palin as his VP choice, these people said "OH yes!" This is very scary. They haven't a clue.

I was just thinking that there should be an "Issue Quiz" at polling places. Like the top 20 issues and where the candidates stand on them. If you can't at least pull a C, you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

But I realize that's unconstitutional.

Guess I'll have to become king.

I'd love to see a qualifying test before being able to register. It seems both sides hang on to a wing and a prayer that the fringe, nutso voters (like crazy McCain lady) are in the minority and won't interfere with overall numbers. We test to get a driver's license, what's wrong with a voter test?

Only the ones that think just like me. Any that deviate, absolutely not.
