Didn't she know that convicted felons aren't allowed to vote!!!!

I know that in some States non violent felons are allowed to vote, but not every where.

The other thing is that even if she is allowed to vote, she will be # ? of convicted felons who like Obama.....

Doesn't she still have the right to support a candidate?

Most states, New York included, reinstate voting rights to felons after they have "done their time." It's no different for the numerous felons who support McCain (Liddy and North for example).

Many felons have their right to vote restored.

felons

IMHO, if they meet all of the requirements and have done their time, why shouldn't they have the right to vote?

Hmmmmmm I'd say the convicted felons voting for McCain probably even things out.

I believe that she does indeed retain her First Amendment rights.

Celebrities in general live in a totally different world than most of us. I don't care who Martha Stewart or Angelina Jolie are supporting because they are obviously supporting them for different reasons than my own.

As far as the fact that Martha is a felon, I hate to tell you but there are prisons all over the country right now filled with both Obama and McCain supporters. There is criminal support for both candidates and I don't think it really matters either way. Let them express their feelings even if they can't vote. It's good to know that even felonious criminals still retain that part of the American Spirit that makes you want to be involved even if it is legally impossible.

Ted Stevens endorsed Palin. Ollie North endorsed McCain as well as Daddy Yankee, Leonore Annenberg (sound familiar?), his father in law who is a convicted felon with supposed ties to organized crime, G. Gordon Liddy.........

Neither candidate has a clean list of supporters and who cares anyways? Make your own decision.
