It has really paid off for Bush after eight years now. It's funny how Democrats are always portrayed as being the "big spenders". Under the Republican watch, the country is in the deepest hole in debt that it has ever been and we spend countless dollars each month on the quagmire that is Iraq. Who are REALLY the big spenders???

Trickle down is economic masturbation. It feels good for awhile, but then you blow your....well, you know....and it takes time to recover.

It always leads to a recession.

Very little trickled down, then Bush and company came and took it all back, plus a couple hundred billion and gave it back to the top.

Trickle down economics or reverse socialism???

John McCain says he's not president bush yet still supports this same concept that bush does. Just like he says he hates war out of one end of his mouth and sings 'bomb iran' out the other.

The McCain trickle down is exactly that "A trickle". McCain loves the trickle down policy as the wealth stays at the top with his wfe and himself and the CEO's and the like. The big tax incentives are there for the rich and the rest get small cuts that really do not help. across the board cuts will mean that McCain will HAVE TO raise taxes significantly to pay for his plans. A 1% tax to the rich would probably be the same money going into the pot as most people pay in tax. Saying that the rich pay most of the tax is true but they get bigger tax incentives and in comparisson pay in less than most working class citizens in comparison to their earnings. Trickle down means nothing except the benefits to the wealthy.

The fact that Wall Street and housing got so inflated tells you exactly where the "trickle" went. Second, third, fourth, fifth, tenth houses. Hedge funds. Ridiculous speculation on subdivisions built hours from civilization. CEO salaries.

Rich people don't spread money around, they hoard it.
