Qaeda wants Republicans, Bush "humiliated": Web video - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081030/ts_nm/us_qaeda_republicans_7 - broken link)

Quote:
"O God, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him," Abu Yahya al-Libi said at the end of sermon marking the Muslim feast of Eid al-Fitr, in a video posted on the Internet.
I Imagine they are hoping for that as payback for all that Bush has done to them in Iraq and elsewhere. He handed them a humiliating defeat in Iraq. And the same thing will happen elsewhere.

I'm sure they feel that Obama will give them a breather.

Al Queda was never active in iraq until after the fall of Saddam. If they were there, they were underground because Saddam woulda cut there heads off. You might wanna check your statement and realize that Al Queda was active in Afganistan against the russians which was funded by the US and trained by the CIA. I would go on but... I'm sure others can't wait to attack this post.

Who shielded the saudis and let them fly back home when americans travel was put on lockdown?

If bush didn't veer off into Iraq, Bin Laden would have certainly been captured, but he went after Saddam instead (who had nothing to do with 9.11)

Bin Laden wants the GOP in power as long as possible. Do you really think that bin laden was stupid enough to not realize that his endorsement of Kerry would have been the final nail in the dems coffin????

Zarquawis focus in Iraq before our preemptive war was more against jordan than anything.

Once again she has been ran out the post. She makes a statement. No facts to prove otherwise on Al Qeda in Iraq, then runs off. Bin Laden wanted to fight Saddam back during the 1st gulf war.

No wonder the Republicans are having such a hard time this year. They can't read.

The very first sentence of the link.

Quote:
An al Qaeda leader has called for President George W. Bush and the Republicans to be "humiliated," without endorsing a party in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, according to an Internet video posting.
