if you are afraid of socialism and are a republican(liberal, conservative, moderate, wackjob neos) but dont make over 200,000 why areyou complaining.

You all going on saying obama wants to tax people to death who makes over 100,000.00 or 200,000.00 + so where does that leave the republicans who are middle class and lower(because there are some poor ass republicans) wouldnt you benefit from socialism since you are not wealthy?

I am an independent, typically vote republican. My opinion is that Bush ruined the republican party. unfortunately I did vote for him though.
I might have voted for Hilary. I was starting to look into her a little more until Obama won.

anyway, under Obama my family will probably do a little better. If he does not ruin heathcare. we have a pretty good policy through the govt.
I voted for Mccain because I think about the country, not just myself/my family.

The core of your question is what I wish to address.
I do not want anything from the government, but alas I am outnumbered.
I do not need cradle to grave government - I want freedom, not bondage.

You realize that Bush made the federal government bigger than it ever was with more power over the American Citizens than ever right?

You realize the the republican party is no longer the small local government affiliated right?

You realize the last time we had what you talk about was the wild west, right?

People who cry socialism have never studied 7th grade social studies.

Obama is not going to take over the American entreprises. A change of tax structure is as American as apple pie and baseball.

Change in tax structure is just the beginning...he wants change in healthcare (more government control), change in right to bare fire arms and lord knows what else. To me "spread the wealth" is a road leading to Socialism period...and why does Joe and Obama keep change the limit on him tax plan. It's gone from $250k to $200k to $150k...what's next $100K?

This is starting to get annoying..... What part of "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." Thomas Jefferson is so hard to understand?
