The sudden financial crisis and the prospect of a deep and painful recession have increased the urgency inside the Obama team to bring people down to earth, after a campaign in which his soaring rhetoric and promises of "hope" and "change" are now confronted with the reality of a stricken economy.

Reported by Fox, written By Tim Reid, The Times of London. Stuff like that happens, not on MSNBC but on real news channels, they actually report news.

No you have. Your entire thread is premised on the notion that the Senator will win, that your candidate has lost, and Senator Obama's supporters "have been had". Didn't vote for your guy didja? sat this one out.....

Fox is actually sending a pro-Obama message to you Republicans: Obama is going to be fiscally responsible and not overwhelm the budget.

Thanks for getting the information out to the base for us, Fox, even if you had to encode it in the trusted negative style!

Yes, the spin is already starting.
'Not everyone will be able to get rainbows and puppies.'
'Bush left us more of a mess than we can clean up in 4 years, but in 8 I am pretty sure we can give everyone Hope.'

Everyone can act locally, which has also been a constant message.

Fox is telling you that Obama will be a fiscally responsible president. What seemed possible last January will have to be postponed, scaled back or abandoned for awhile.

Let's all help the country dig itself out of the financial mess by acting locally - being prudent with money ourselves - all we can do.

Sure, and everyone knows that FOX is a big Republican supporter. And I agree with Yadda! Yadda! Yadda!

And maybe if grandpa McCain and Hockey mommy Palin get into office most of you bachward thinkers will come out of the 13th century, like the rest of the people did. Its time for the US to get away for the good-ole-boys clubs, the last 8 years we've been falling apart at the seams and the rest of the world have been laughing at us with good reason.
