There have been comparisons of red states and blue states. Red states are #1 when it comes to violent crime, divorce rates, prison populations, etc.

I've heard that too, however, I know quite a few liberals who have been mugged.

Do you have a link as proof of that? I know the area that I live is VERY conservative and there is virtually no crime.

Did you happen to look at the conservative cities? Come on, You seem to be so blind that you only look at the right. Open your eyes, huh?

Provo, Utah has banned the movie "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" that comes out tonight because it deals with......................drum roll please...........SEX. Oh no! Not the S word, no not socialism, SEX!

Then you conservatives have the gaul to talk about freedom, but you spent the last 8 years banning trying to ban everything you don't believe in.

I live in one of the most conservative cities -- we have very low unemployment, low cost of living, great schools, and we were also listed near the top of MOST RECESSION-PROOF cities.

I left Western Pennsylvania 22 years ago and SURPRISE! I'm the only one in my extended family who has never been laid-off, who could afford to buy a house on her own, and who hasn't had to worry about the economy. Wise up.

Good for you! Why do I have to wise up?????????

I left western Pa too for two other cities and came back for family. Are you better than me or something? I am a engineer, and engineering in Pittsburgh is doing well and is recession proof also.

Notice how you can't even comment on what I was talking about with conservatives banning art. Like they do in fascism.

Also low cost of living, good schools, etc has nothing to do with liberalism or conservatism.

You have to "wise up" for trashing conservative cities for dumb reasons. Your ilk tries to paint conservative areas in unflattering terms to make the insanity in places like Detroit look better.
