Dear Senator McCain and Sarah Palin,

You worked hard these last few months campaigning. However it is not about, DRILL, DRILL, DRILL Baby, it is about the economy, STUPID!

For the last 8 years we have had the worst Government in the history of the United States. We have a administration that lies and spins the truth and has ruined our reputation throughout the world.

Senator McCain and Sarah Palin, you both have a tendency to lie too often and spin the truth. Us Americans don't know who to believe but Obama has lied less than you and he seems more intuned with how the economy works.

Our economy is shakey to say the least. Senator McCain, you have been on record three times saying you don't know anything about economics, that is not your speciality. I suppose war is your specialty, huh? When you mentioned that the U.S. economy is fundamentally strong while the largest bank bit the dust that day, "yes" it is obvious you don't know about economics.

Americans are generous people but in the last eight years, the elderly have lost health benefits from medicare, the working class jobs are dwindling through out-sourcing, We are losing our savings we worked so hard to attain, Health benefits have increased, food and gasoline prices are up by 30 percent in one year, Utilities have increased, Property taxes increased because states are becoming broke, foreclosures on the rise causing real estate to decline. Tourism is down, causing businesses who depend on tourist trade, to close their doors. Businesses closing, businesses reconstructing, causing unemployment to increase. (700K people lost jobs this last year). 5 billion dollars a month is spent in Iraq.
Our government is broke, our people are spent, our nation is weak, but our spirits remain intact. You won't break our spirit, you won't use scare tactics to make our decisions or change our mind, we won't be bought.

I do not support this bailout but I realize it helps money to flow. Our government that once was capitalism and now is socialism, I want to know if I will be reinbursed for my loses due to the wall street and greedy loan companies and banks? I doubt it.

So, Senator McCain and Sarah Palin, our economy is not fundamentally strong. Mc Cain you lost Michigan for one reason. You told the Auto Workers their jobs will be lost and you did not give them any hope to finding work in their field but you said the workers are fundamentally strong. Yes, I agree and that is the reason the people in Michigan will not vote for you, as you see, It is the JOBS Americans want.

My friends, it is not about bringing reform, propsperity and peace to America. It is about bringing jobs, jobs, jobs, less taxes, affordable health care, middle class are hurting and they need help. We need to strengthen the economy by people working.

TO ALL ELSE:

Bring back manufacturing, equal trade, no more job resourcing. When Dell, At^T,Capital One, Microsoft, Sears, levi streuss, when these companies and thousands more got their start here in America, and now they relocate to other countries to save $$$ and exploit slave labor, I shake my head. What can be done about this?

China is now more powerful than the U.S.A. Why is this? Because our government allowed this to happen. When I was a little girl, we would go to JJ Newberry's to shop and we were told to look at the bottom of the gift we were going to buy and if it said, "made in China" don't buy it. We were told only to buy that read, "made in america". We would have a hard time to do that now.

CHANGE is coming but I don't believe through any politicians but through the American people, demanding that they are fed up and they won't take it anymore, they are tired of being beat up.

Obama/Biden will be our new leaders. Lets let them know, we demand jobs, retirement benefits, affordable health care, no bailing out of wall street but supporting main street.

God Bless America . Our spirits will not be broke, we will survive and we will come out stronger. Know the issues, get involved please. It takes more than a village, it takes city after city to turn our country around. It takes YOU, to fight for our freedoms. We need jobs, retirements, affordable health benefits. Say, "NO" to job outsourcing, say "NO" to free trade but "YES" to equal trade. When Walmart is the number 2 employer in most towns and cities, and most of their goods are from China, we are supporting China.

Shop at farmer's markets that are springing up all around America. The food is locally grown and you support your local families and farmers.

Thank you all for being on this site as it shows you care. We might disagree with one another but we all are here for one purpose, that is because we are concerned for our country. You are the best!!!

And you think drilling has nothing to do with the economy? I think we see who is stupid! We don't need socialist Obama as our president. And Obama voted for the bailout too. I'm voting McCain.

It's a good thing Bush wrote, passed and signed the bailout all by himself.
