I really liked McCain before he became the unethical shell we now see before us in 2008.

So did I. About 6 months ago, I thought we had a win/win and it didn't matter which candidate won. No longer. McCain's selection of Palin and his unbelievable attacks and lies against Obama have made me lose faith in a man that I once respected.

McCain should have stayed who he has been, and many of the independents would have followed, I bet. Placating the evangelical base is the worst thing he could have done. Well that and becoming a big liar.
