Is the OP maybe referring to Obama's 90 day mortgage moratorium?

That wasn't Clinton's plan. The bailout (which both of these two ass clowns voted for) had no help for the homeowners in it. McCain wants to force the Treasury to buy up bad mortgages to renegotiate them for the homeowners. You know, sharing the wealth of the taxpayers.

I am just sick of this anti-intellectualism that is plauging this country. Like is is "faggy" if you go to a art museum, save for college, read books, etc.

What is going on with this country?
Going to a museum doesn't get you a flat screen and some shiny wheels for your car. It doesn't make you "gangsta" or "hardcore." It doesn't help anyone "get theirs."

Unfortunately I went through that in high school. I studied, went to 'art museums', taught myself (basic) physics during the summer between 7th and 8th grade. Boy was I ever made fun of in high school, it was not an enjoyable experience for me, or my boyfriend (who was into computer stuff). Luckily for me, it paid off and I'm very happy where I am in life, while the 'head cheerleader' during my senior year has 3 kids by 3 different guys and has been on welfare for 4 years... yeah.

Revenge of the nerds is needed!!

The pathetically uninformed surface once again.
It reminds me of the video in which African American voters were being interviewed and asked why they supported Obama and then given the McCain platform as Obama's and they agreed that was why they were voting for him. They also added that Sarah Palin was his running mate and they were quick to say, I don't mind her, either.
Also, check out the numbers of African American servicemen voting for Obama vrs. the entire pool who overwhelming support McCain.
