how ironic that he would rail against the government yet advocate bigger government as the solution. our government, led by the democratic controlled house and senate, bailed out the rich wall street executives, but i guess he does not understand that!

No, he understands that. He just wants there to be a moral answer rather than allowing greed to go unchecked. I do agree with you on his bigger government solution. Big government is dead. Long live big government!

It is hard to police and legislate against "greed" since it is not illegal. A certain amount of greed is healthy and it drives innovation, but that line can and has been crossed in some situations.

Great article. I usually like to get my political/financial advice from actors and especially ones from such classics as "Say Anything", "Sixteen Candles" and "Serendipity"

it seems that celebrities do not do their homework because their lives are so far removed from our daily lives and issues. unchecked greed could lead to anarchy. i tried to find out if a president could be recalled by a recall election, but it appears that the president is exempt from a recall vote.

And WHO signed that into law? I don't recall any mention of a veto.

Or is it too easy to forget that there's been no leadership in the White House for 7+ years?

how do the democrats get a pass from you for a bill that they sponsored, voted for, lost thanks to blue dog democrats and republicans, re-voted for, and finally passed! all the president does is sign or veto. i am not defending bush and he should have vetoed, but that does not excuse the liberal democrats for jamming it through!

Our recall election is called impeachment. The House of Representatives hears the Articles of Impeachment and then votes Yay or Nay.
