Obama says spreading the wealth and paying taxes is patriotic.

McCain and the rest of us are selfish....what will he think about him self and Joe Biden who gave $ 900 over 3 years, to charity and making over $ 300K.

So if we already pay taxes and want to decide our self who we give our money and how much we give to charity...that is called selfish!

I rather be selfish than pay more taxes and have Obama use it for more earmarks.

HOW SELFISH IS OBAMA FOR NOT HELPING HIS OWN BLOOD BROTHER AND AUNT BY GIVING THEM A FEW DOLLARS.

OBAMA SHOW HOW NOT SELFISH YOU ARE AND PAY FOR THE PLANE TICKET SO YOUR AUNT CAN LEAVE THIS COUNTRY AS AN ILLEGAL AND HAVE HER APPLY FOR A LEGAL VISA TO STAY HERE...JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER PERSON HAS TO DO!

Ok Ok, you convinced me.

I'm Voting McCain now.

How could I forget what a hero McCain is when he ran to the officers quarters instead of grabbing a hose or extinguisher as 134 died and another 161 were injured on deck!

Are you going to stop these incessant nasty petty posts after the election? You never ever focus on substance, just these nonsensical viewpoints that no one else ever seems to agree with. Get yourself a tinfoil hat, go HOME to your country of origin in Europe and get your racist behind out of our election since you are not a citizen and cannot vote here anyway. Lighten up a bit wingnut.

I guess you are one of the people waiting for the welfare check so other people can spread their wealth...I pay taxes in the USA and don't want to spread my wealth...I want to decide who I gave my money so I'll be free to choose my charities and not Nobama.

Didn't you pay taxes in Europe too? What was the problem there? Please dont do us any favors over here and then complain about OUR tax system and our country. Neither candidate changes our tax and capitalist structure in any manner, one just wants one group to pay more (McCain, he wants the middle class to chip in more than their fare share) and less by others (McCain wants the wealthiest of the wealthy, like him and his wife, to pay LESS than their fare share). So you need to learn our history and policies before you complain about our country. If you dont like our tax structure, which has been around for decades (Obama just wants to go back to the successes of the Clinton tax rates), go back to Europe where they pay even more in taxes but seem to live quite well in return.

And no I am not on welfare and I am willing to bet I pay more in taxes than you. However, there are hard working Americans who need a tax break. It will help our economy when the middle class has more money to spend. Everyone will benefit.

If you TAKE from folks to give to others, then you are lessening the total wealth. What we should be striving for is for EVERYONE to make more on their own. There is plenty to go around. We want to GROW wealth, not re-distribute it. That helps no one, in the long run. Giving someone $1000 may sound great (especially for those receiving it!), but it won't help the economy in the long run! We want everyone to make as much as they can or want.

It's like giving your kid unlimited money to spend on anything. They don't appreciate the value of the money they've been given. Make them EARN their own money, and they tend to spend it wisely, and want to make more!

Americans are like spoiled kids--gimme, gimme, gimme! We have to stop this mentality.
