They do...when they are small business owners making $250-$300K per year and are deemed "wealthy" by Obama's standards of what "rich and wealthy" is. Which in my opinion, is Obama pandering to those who could live like movie stars IN THE STATE they live in on $250-$300K). He and the far left have a huge propblem understanding that the cost of living actually DOES differ from state to state.

I just cannot understand how so many people actually think that making in the $250-$300k range is flat out RICH with maids, cooks, personal trainers for all, 10,000 sq ft homes, pools and a small amusement park in the backyard for the kiddies? It's not. Not where I live. It's paying the bills, taking care of kids, college funds, owning a car or two, saving for retirement (most small business owners don't have 401K plans where the company matches), paying out of pocket for health insurance (no big company to help with the monthly payment), etc.

The down and out and the poor have been voting democratically for the past how many years? From state to Federal levels. Are they any better off?

Personally, I wouldn't define rich as being at the $250,000-$300,000 level, but I think in just about any state, though not in every neighborhood, that income would assure you a comfortable lifestyle. There has to be a cut-off at some point, Obama's picked the quarter-million a year income as the cut-off.

As for voting Democrat, and better off, it doesn't matter how I vote, locally or federally, but how the majority votes. Locally, my city and county is 90% Republican, and the Democrats have been making progress over the past 20 years. Nationally, during the past 20 years, I have felt that I was doing better during Democrat administrations. The last seven years, and particularly the past six months, have been devastating.

All these big, bold "plans" of early childhood education, social healthcare, etc, etc, etc, require a lot of money Barack. And you'll be getting that from "cutting" taxes? It's going to be tough when the top 5% are already doing everything they can to shelter their money from your socialist ways.

Or are you just saying what will get you elected and counting on people being so enamored with you that they won't notice you haven't followed up on a SINGLE campaign promise.

This guy is a total sham and it's going to be a shame if we have to elect him to figure that out. If you think he's really going to cut your taxes, you've got a rude awakening coming.

If you don't get a direct tax hike, you're going to get it in the goods and energy you buy because he'd like to make it almost impossible for businesses to make a profit. It's got to come from somewhere, and that's going to be us.

Sunshine and lollipops work in elementary school, but reality is way different.
OMG - all you GOP folks are just do upset your candidate ran a DREADFUL campaign. Get over it.
