Wright made the implication that 9/11 happen because of what we did during WWII.

Implications are quite different from accusations.

Again, name one of the events that he named where the US initiated an attack upon others that DID NOT occur?

Agreed. Meanwhile back at the ranch those in denial of history need to acknowledge that America has committed its share of atrocities throughout it's history. The fact that they don't want to hear it, especially from a black man, whether he says it in a church or in his living room, it doesn't negate the truth.

would you expose your family to such vitriol?
I don't know why people bother starting polls like this one. Democrats are liars with no sense of morality. They want what you have without working for it themselves.

I only wish more preachers would speak out against the ill-concieved wars that our government has gotten us into.

Not to mention that the whole "chickens coming home to roost" concept was something that Reverend Wright borrowed (WITH attribution) from a former U.S. Ambassador, who'd said it first, on television.

Ambassador Peck (the man whose quote is borrowed by Pastor Wright) was was the Deputy Director of the Reagan White House Task Force on Terrorism. He served as Chief of Mission in Baghdad (Iraq 1977 to 1980) and later held senior posts in Washington and abroad. Edward Peck also argued against invading Iraq prior to the March 2003 invasion.
