If I had been in Missouri, I would have gone to see her too. What else is there to do there but see a comedy show?

Obama has outspent McCain 5 to 1 in Missouri. I think it's amazing that Obama isn't way ahead in the polls under those circumstances. BUT HE'S NOT!

Ahhh, wasn't so long ago McCain had sour grapes for Obama's celebrity. He hasn't even mentioned that since getting one of his own, though.

The media is so disgusting - they keep trying to put forth the narrative that SHE is dragging the ticket down. I think not. SHE has fired up the base, big time. Last time that happened was in 2004.
Doesn't look like 18,000 to me, where did you find that number? I doubt there were even thousands as suggested in the link.

Right. I'm sure they were mostly Obama supporters.

Why would Obama be ahead, Missouri is traditionally a red state? The fact that Obama is close speaks volumes.....

Obama's Missouri crowd of 100,000...I'd rather for the top of the ticket to create all the excitement as oppose to the bottom of the ticket. If the top of the ticket cant generate excitement, that really says something about him as a candidate and his potential to win an election.

Also, he was forcing McCain to spend money to defend redstates, and not to advertise in battlegrounds. The fact that Obama has shifted redstated to battle grounds was impressive.

It is pretty stupid for neo-cons to be bragging about this.

Clinton carried Missouri in '92 and '96. Missouri has a pretty good record of deciding who gets elected.
