She died of cancer. If there is such a thing as karma, you'd better hope it doesnt' get your loved ones. Casting ugliness on the world will eventually bite you in the ass.
This is a very conflicted time for anyone in this position. I hope he can grieve once this is all over. I know how much she helped shape him into the person he is today.
