How awful for his entire family.

It proves that Sen. Obama did the right thing, and saw her before it was too late.

I passed up a similar opportunity when my own grandmother was ill in 1995, and she passed the day after Christmas. I will never forgive myself.

My heart goes out to him and to his family.
