Actually you're dumb as a rock if you try to lump all voters in such childish and naive terms.

Enjoy!

Sure does. Until you get down to the state level. Here in NC, Dole and Hayes. Um... no thanks. I'll be voting for Kissell (a school teacher) and Cole, the libertarian candidate.

Conservative columnist Kathleen Parker has the answer for you:

Kathleen Parker: The final hours

"...If Obama is your man, then otherwise vote all Republican.

As even Democrats should do, lest one party control both Congress and the executive branch. That absolute power corrupts absolutely is a dictum that needs no defense. That both parties are equally corruptible is a monument to understatement. And gridlock, though we profess to hate it, is sometimes preferable to the alternatives."

Can't agree with the voting for Obama part but she's right on about the balance of power. In fact, the main reason I do NOT want Obama in office is because of the freak show we have in Congress.

I agree, at my state level I will be voting a bit differently than the executive and legislative branches too.

I can't vote for Dole. I don't care that she voted against the bailout. That godless ad was just too much. And Hayes has lied repeatedly in his ads not to mention his little show in Concord a couple weeks ago. Kissell is a Reagan Democrat. I can live with that. Cole is a libertarian and we need more than just a two party system.

Not sure if I would call it a "freak show" but I agree, is a bit of a precedent for new level of crazy in the congress, both sides of it, but especially the house.

I am hoping and praying that in my life time I will see more than a heavy two party system. Maybe after the fiasco of this election the next might have some stronger other parties? Heck, two months ago I was looking all over the place for ol Ross Perot to pop up. Heck, I'll vote for him a second time for sure!

Krugman seems to think that the evangelicals and faithful Palinstinians will stay with the GOP. That means the fiscal conservatives who don't vote based on abortion and the gay will need somewhere to go. They could even pull some Conservative Democrats. I'm not sure the Libertarians will really benefit unless they find some strong candidates.
