I think a repeat of 2000 would not behoove anyone, regardless of who the eventual winner was.

Totally agreed.

YOU are distrusting. LOL
My candidate seems in the lead and I REFUSE to be remotely comfortable at this point. I'll be a freaking mess watching the results.

And I DON'T fully trust the "system" or that there will be no "fraud" so I worry worry worry.

Did I mention I will be having Martini's watching the results?

Also, if NC goes Obama... I think we've got our answer.
Heck, if NC goes, I'd be blown away and would pretty much call it there. I'm pretty curious about Indiana and Montana as well. Arizona while unlikely, would be salt in an open wound.

What about "blue" states that could go red?

Outside of PA, do you think there are any that could go the other way? I don't think there are...except PA.

No, I don't see a single blue state going red this cycle. I have been watching Pennsylvania pretty closely and I don't for the life of me see how that won't be a 5pt + win for Obama. Florida I think will end up being closer than Pennsylvania and for the life of me, I don't know why McCain didn't focus more in Florida.

I will be surrounded by various comfort foods tomorrow, starting with nachos and ending with cake!

I got a feeling McCain will win Ohio by a slight margin, so I won't be depending on Ohio (originally from Ohio). Hope I am wrong.

Yes, true, but I think that, with the exception of Indiana, there will be a whole lot of "eastern" blue states on the map fairly early in the evening! I will also make a (bold) prediction that Florida will be close, but will go for Obama. Why do I say that. .. well I work in a "senior" community. and only 2 residents have current year "bumper stickers". . . both for Obama!
