For the last 10 minutes on NBC the "breaking news" story has been Obama voting, nothing else, just a camera fixed on Obama and I guess what must be his daughter while he struggles with who to vote for, or worst case his daughter is telling him how to do it?
Even Matt is wondering what's taking him so long.
My question is why is this "breaking news"? Did blacks just get the right to vote? No. Is it historic that he is voting? Oh wait a minute, it MUST be that it's historic he's voting something other than "Present"!
Hey NBC, your "in the tank" is showing!

I was wondering if they were disturbing other people trying to vote. It showed Obama standing there FOREVER, talking and laughing with his daughter. Uh....isn't it supposed to be quiet so people can concentrate? And were there people waiting while Obama took a 10 minute photo op? Maybe the ballots are longer in some areas than in mine, but it took me 5 minutes tops to vote, probably less.

I am no fan of Obama, but if I were in his or McCain's position, I would take my time and relish the moment.

Oh, it was certainly contrived. As soon as Obama finished, the screen split and Biden stepped into his polling place.

And 50% or so of America is gullible enough to suck it all up.

*sigh*

Chicago uses paper ballots. They also had something like SEVENTY judges on the ballot. You want Obama to just zip through and tick the party lines, or do you want him to actually think about who he's voting for?

Puhleeze people...use your heads for once mmmkay?

Did you see the form that Obama had to use to vote? How can a voting process be soo fraught with problems? I'm amazed that the voting process has not yet been sorted out in America.
