I don't know what's worse--Palin's few hundred thousand dollars on clothing or the reported 800 million dollars Obama spent on his campaign.

I supported neither party, they're both corrupt. I think that spending that kind of money on any sort of campaign while poverty continues to exist in this country is obscene.

I have a hard time believing that Palin is really responsible for the expenditures. I think the blame lies on the McCain campaign management.

The PUBLIC who gave money, lots of it, to the Obama campaign expected that money to be spent on the campaign. The money was not donated to be given to the impoverished, it was donated to the Obama campaign to be used in the election of our President elect.

I have no problem with how he spent the money I donated to his candidacy.
I do have a problem with Palin lying about what she spent.
BTW, I thought all of those clothes were going to be donated.
I'm interested in how so many "got lost" - nice excuse.

Wonder if Biden ever did that.
Wonder what Todd thought of the possibly future VP teasing the boys. Wonder if the Secret Service was fighting for that detail.

Apparently from the linked article and another one I read, she was given a donor credit card and told to buy two or three suits. She came back with an entire wardrobe for her whole family.

Yeah, she hit several Nieman Marcus' - she was hiding from the press, they were trying to keep her out of the spotlight.

They wouldn't even let her on stage last night.
