Trust me when I reassure you that all Texans are not afraid of President Elect Obama's win or prone to having political anxiety attacks because of something that a child said to another child!

Isn't this hate speech and racial intimidation?

Does the black kid get a free pass on this?

I know a white kid would be expelled!

12 year olds are not very sane, regardless of color. The child needs to be dealt with according to school rules. I taught 6th grade for 12 years. Those kids will say anything, and most of them speak before they think.

I have read many less than subtle racial slurs in these posts.

As all Oklahomans are not (where I am from) but I sure can tell you many many many Texans and Okies still think as if the black people still should pick the cotton, ride the back of the bus and eat somewhere else, and take the black door. Just calling it how I see it. And I'm tired of it.

My kid goes to a very diverse school and I would not have it any other way, things get said wrong from all races, and they are dealt with.

If people would put hate out of their heart, perhaps they would stop spreading it on to the next gen, and that goes to any and all social or racial groups.

Ignorance breeds fear and hate, I think that is the bottom line.
