Poor child, she's gonna look like a raggamuffin after all this.

Which wardrobe?
I heard that she accepted money from the RNC for clothing,
and then the McC campaign already with a cash deficit,
offered her money for a wardrobe, she accepted without
telling McC that she already HAD money from the RNC.

What a slimy little ----- she is!
I'll bet she does that to Todd, too.
Really makes you feel sorry for John.
It's a horrible thing when you cannot
totally trust your partner.

You're absolutely right.

This is the sort of thing that usually happens in banana republics or tinhorn African dictatorship.

AGAIN, the GOP makes the USA the laughing stock of the world.

"...a Republican Party lawyer would be dispatched to Alaska to inventory and retrieve the clothes still in her possession."

How embarrassing, they should have just returned to Alaska with the clothes they had on their backs when they arrived. A lawyer has to come up and make sure, yikes. Sending a lawyer is an major insult either way - whether they didnt ask her in DC to give them back or whether they did ask her and she said no.

She went back to wearing her own clothes anyway, after the criticism about the GOP spending $150,000 on her wardrobe. Plus I thought she dressed fine before they bought her new clothes. Also, I heard on TV this morning I think it was that the $150,000 was kind of inflated number cause they got every outfit in several sizes to make sure it would fit, so there were duplicates of every outfit. Didn't sound like she went out and tried on the clothes and bought them, but that outfits were picked out and sent in several sizes just in case (I'm sure with the intent to return the ones that did not fit).

I suppose they'll have to gather up the clothes from the rest of the fam as well....

McCain aides said some of that money was spent on clothing for Palin's children and husband Todd, who may have received between $20,000 and $40,000 in wardrobe purchases, including thousands of dollars in shoes.

Then why did she bring them back with her? She's supposed to have some money, it would be nicest I guess if she would just pay for them rather than the GOP having to send lawyers after her.

Although I do love that she's giving us this last chuckle

Ouch. I read the article. The mis-communication was horrible, how is one supposed to lead a country when you can't even communicate properly with your running partner? So when he said the failure was his own.. I am now starting to believe him!
