It's over, Dennis, only right wing rubes find you funny. And most of these people are amused over a ball of yarn.
Really, if The Katenjammer Twins mod wouldn't keep deleting my post Id gladly reply.
That being said Dennis is actually hilarious, he's mellowed with age along with his political stances. With age one usually attains wealth, wisdom and a better grasp on reality.

It's not my fault if one doesn't get the obscure.

Just the fact that his appeal has been limited to viewers of Faux News, tells you something...the man is a has been.

Aside from your silly diversions, the tragic news for the GOP is the huge difference in numbers for the 18-34 age group voting overwhelmingly Democratic. Only old people\ 65 & over are majority-Republican. In cities like LA, all segments of the population vote Democratic [Beverly Hills to Compton\ Malibu to East LA]. There's no GOP presence in the 2nd largest city in the nation [also true for New York City\ Houston\ Chicago\ Denver\ all the large population centers.

When the Republican party lost the wealthy & educated it lost its future. A "Southern" party is very unappealing to most Americans.

"In LA", you DO realize the rest of the country LAUGHS at LA and SF in particular? It ain't called "land of fruits and nuts" for nothing. Please, tie Pelosi down, do not let her return to the right coast.

Well if being too old to be on SNL makes one a has been I guess he might be. On the plus side unlike Belusi, hartman, white granny and Radnor, he's alive. That should count for something.

He's tried other ventures since then and since his show on HBO, he has been unable to cut it...MNF and CNBC being two examples. He's become a bitter has been looking for an audience..

It's going to be fun having Al Franken as a US senator. But the most fun is going to be watching Billo the clown & Hannity's look of disgust every time Franken speaks before the Senate or press.

Education doesn't necessarily make one wiser, just better at taking tests.

Fox News is much more balanced than the typical left-wing blow-hards, making them look right-wing, which they really aren't.
