As far as "shooting my mouth off" how do you explain Ventura? Like I said, laughing stock only to be superseded by FloriDUH.

Doesn't that say something in support of our system? I mean, where else would 30 missing votes have been noticed?
Gov. Ventura won on a 38% plurality in a three way race. Every system has loose cannons, rogues and outlayers; but no single person represents the system of politics and elections created in this state.

Minnesota is a fine state, but it's politics are just as messed up as anybody's.
Any state that would even consider Stuart Smally for the senate, is... wacky.

Oh, 30 'votes' are mysteriously found in almost every election, just about everywhere. Get out more.

I suggest you get out more, because you obviously don't understand that people are individuals.

What does that have to do with anything I just said? People are individuals? Individual what?

Anyway, if Minnesota wants to vote for the loon, they're well within their right to do so. On the other hand, I have every right to express my opinion about it. I am very suspicious of the process that's taking place right now, though.

What is so flawed about Al Franken that he shouldn't even be considered for the seat? One is more than welcome to disagree with him and his positions, but what is so particularly appalling about him?

Are you okay?

Hit your head a few more times and maybe you'll get it.

Hint: You just did it again in this post.

Another Hint: Look up "state" and "individual" in a dictionary.

Contrast. Absorb. Retain.

Germans and Scandinavians are the root of every aspect of Minnesota's culture. There are also thousands of blacks, Somalis, Hmong, Liberians, American Indians, Indians and Hispanics who have assimilated to that culture. Statements such as these undermine those groups, as if they somehow couldn't be a part of the culture that makes this state great. Not only is that offensive, but it was unnecesarily off-topic. I can handle the truth, but your insolence is an entirely seperate matter.

He's mostly interested in getting a rise out of people, which is why he (and a couple others) have been demoted to barnacles on my ignore list.
