Good Idea. If at first you don't succeed......

Why give up herr senate seat for this job? I thought she may go for being the governor of NY. Oh well we shall see.

Every strategist I heard on television yesterday said she was highly qualified for the position. They also indicated that she knows many foreign leaders on a first name basis. However, they wondered about the fact where she was different in her opinions on how she would handle talking or not talking with certain leaders of countries which was contrary to what Obama has stated.

While I think it would be a great pick, I think it's a smokescreen.

Senate Majority leader would be a better spot. She and the President-elect agree on so much more than disagree and the position in Congress would be almost as powerful as the one she campaigned for. It would also put her into position to push her healthcare agenda and working mothers agenda. Senator Kerry is practically overqualified for the position and Governor Richardson isn't far behind....

In response to the "debatable" comment - two words - Unanimous Consent.

What the world has been waiting for Obama president and Hillary Secretary of State. I could see our enemies celebrating if this happens.
