Dang ... that was quick!!! I would have loved to hear the screaming when Rahm confronted Ben.

Let's throw the trite, overused, worn out, annoying phrase , "throw under the bus" .....UNDER THE BUS!

There ARE other words in the English language!

How about "Rahm Emmanuel Apologizes for father's disparaging remarks about Arabs"

Although I don't know why he would apologize for what someone else said (???)

It's like Laura Bush apologizing for Barney biting the reporter. You feel an apology is in order... and more importantly you want to dissociate yourself from something a member in your household did.

I understand if your ill trained, Republican () dog bites someone, the dog is the owner's responsibility...and the owner should apologize.
But to pick apart whatever Emmanuel's father said and expect Rahm to apologize is ...extreme....if his FATHER feels like apologizing that's his business.... he's not a dog.

Right... There's that understanding of the subtle nuances of foreign relations rearing it's head...

You seem to be claiming that the Arabs who objected to the statement are extreme. Do you honestly believe that?

It would be better to remove the I'm American so I'm right-colored (in lieu of rose-colored) glasses and look at things a little more objectively and realistically - with a more worldly perspective.

Rahm Throws his own Father under the bus!

Under the bus, out of the plane, off of the ship, whatever he felt most efficient at the time.

Because that reeks of partisan bias

Thrown under the bus is much more accurate
