Here is a good read.

First-time voters look to Obama to restore American dream - CNN.com

Here is a snippet of the article

"An overwhelming majority of first-time voters, including the Amans, voted for Sen. Barack Obama over Sen. John McCain by a margin of 69 to 31 percent, CNN exit polls show."

Thats a huge margin and a big reason Obama won.

Witness to a failed public education system, and indoctrination program. Not totally the fault of the young, who generally don't yet know their a** from a hole in the ground. But is a travesty to see the lack of confidence in a capitalist system which has worked so well for us in the past at least. Maybe, like the French youth, they just want to get on the government "goody train" and ride out their lives in ignominy....and mediocrity. Maybe a stint with Obama will awaken their higher side and change some minds, always hope for optimism.

How old are you? who will be wiping your you know what in the nursing home, paid for by medicare a system you didn't pay enuff into -- to pay what the system pays them to wipe it.. Its the working youth's tax dollars giving you that welfare, the people that can not put food on the table or find stable jobs because of YOU. Your gen has gone about destroying this WHOLE PLANET and making the American dream impossible for them and their own families, yet YOU think you know better? no, you do not know better. You have proved you do not know beter yet you still HOPE to allow people to rape us more? You do not and never will have a clue with that attitude.

The American dream is to have liberty and freedom, especially from the government. I doubt Obama will try to do much about that.
Are the public school systems failing to teach these basic things nowadays?
