I for one am glad the "real" Sarah Palin has a chance to speak, as she reinforced all the impressions I had of her. My gut instincts and common sense told me she was not for the nation.

She's running around trying to make Alaska and Alaskans look even more ridiculous and naive. She's managed to ruin the reputation of her whole state- why would she want to go back?

When a person is a good leader and has things in order, one should not even be able to notice they are not present. When a person in management has to be present to keep things running, they are not a very good leader. I am thinking it is about 85% of the people in her state that are pleased with her performance as their governor. Maybe she is lucky the people in Alaska are not the vultures she experienced when she came to the lower 48.
They were doing the same thing as Ms. Palin. I for one intend to save the above post and use it for all it's worth. It nicely answers the question of how Obama could campaign and keep his Senate job.

And McCain, and Edwards, and Clinton, and anyone else Though, upon losing, they all stepped aside as "the candidate" and went about business as before running for election, unlike Palin, it seems.

If she didn't care about taking care of her children by dragging them along on the campaign trail, what the hell makes you think she gives 2 poops about her constituents?

When John Edwards knew he lost, he shook some hand and went back to working in the Senate, same with Al Gore in '04. It seems every time I turn on the news there's some story running about Palin. Old interviews, new interviews, interviews in studios, interviews at her house. Perhaps it's the media trying to stretch her limelight to the limit. As if there isn't anything else going in this Country that cable news feeds have to be played on Palin's over-spent clothing.

My thought is, if my governor was off gallivanting the Country instead of working in & for the State of New York, I'd be pretty ticked. What do Alaskans think of an absentee Governor since election ended 2 weeks ago?
Your entire post is dead on. Everyone else has gone back to doing what the taxpayers pay them for. Despite the fact that Obama was on the campaign trail for 2 years and will not be sworn in until January '09, he has continued to work nonstop.

Here we are 3 weeks after the election cycle and the narcissitic famewhore from Wasilla has not only abandoned her duties as governor but I'm sure her children are suffering as well. Especially if she left them with Todd the wimp, the Wasilla pimp. Hopefully nobody else got pregnant in her absence, including but not limited to the "governor".

Alaska has as many people as a medium sized city. The unfortunate soul who serves as Lt Gov probably does a better job.

With all the hoopla, can a Palin spread in Playboy be far away? I reckon Hef is already making calls....
