OK, so tell me what that person could actually accomplish???
You just elected Obama - a man who has never held a real job in a real, for-profit business. No executive experience either. Outside of a brief term in the Senate, which was mostly spent campaigning, he has never set foot in Washington. So you tell me, what did you expect Obama to "actually accomplish"?

So far, it's obvious he has no idea what he's doing.

Then why should he be afraid to bring in other intelligent outsiders like himself and bring real change to Washington? Why the same status quo?

He could bring in a bunch of people who have no experience and are merely in due to their business associations or personal connections. Or he can bring experienced people in who have ideas different from the current administration.

Obama campaigned promising change from the disastrous Bush/republican years. He campaigned as a democrat, with support from all democratic politicians by the time the election was head to head Obama/Biden v. McCain/Palin. He did not campaign based on promises to bring in political neophytes or outsiders.

It was McCain/Palin who campaigned as "mavericks" and "outsiders" trying to distance themselves from the republican status quo, saying that they would change how Washington works, bring in outsiders, shake things up etc.

The problem which you all seem to miss is that those people with their ethics, their morals, their wisdom and intelligence would never choose to work with the scum in DC. They would not bring themselves to the level it requires to be a politician in DC. That is the point, our politicians do not deserve to so-call serve the people but nobody else will take the job.

This is what you get with a corrupt 2-party system and stupid sheep.

Add to that his Chicago Thug Team, and not a chance in h*ll anything positive will be getting done.... We are ALL headed down the slippery slope to the Third World, those who elected The One will have no special dispensation, no special protection. Just thrown in with the rest of us worms.....enjoy!
