I'm thinking it "goes without saying" only because it disproves the case, and thus is preferable not to bring up.
Yeah, that's EXACTLY how it is. Thanks for telling me what I think.

Give it up, Jeffrey. McCain was one of many men who've been in POW camps-- around 2500 just from the Viet Nam era. We can't hand them all a presidency as a consolation prize, no matter how much we respect their service.

Jeffrey, I wouldn't presume to try to even guess what, or how, you think.

Give it up Aconite. Stop defending stupidity.

When nasty little what's her beak decides to deride McCain as somebody who wouldn't ever get his shoes dirty, that's just stupid. And defending that stupidity is stupid.

But it really IS nice to know that you have no respect whatever for POWs. How humane of you.

Then don't. You only make yourself look foolish.

Compassion has nothing to do with anything.

I feel for people who try and cannot get ahead...I have no sympathy for those who live off the system and expect those who work for a living to make up for the difference.

What exactly did Obama DO as a "community organizer"? Was does that even mean?

Well good to know that you feel the same about McCain as I did about Kerry and his "purple bandaids".

Noone was or is asking anyone to hand anyone a Presidency as a consolation prize for being a POW. You should just have a little more respect for them as a whole. McCain didn't take PICTURES of the vietnam war nor did he run his campaign on his purple hearts/swift boat/protesting efforts while best buds with Hanoi Jane. It's called this little thing known as compassion.

But Kerry and Gore were held up as valient warriors who really KNEW war....

Which side of the mouth do liberals want to TRY to stick to talking out of?

I can't imagine someone living such an incurious life - to get by for X years as a functioning adult in the US without knowing what a community organizer is. And would act proud of this. Oh well, happy Thanksgiving. I wonder what the prayer is at your table?

As for his financial status...GMAFB. No matter whose name is on the papers, he's not exactly living in housing and spending food stamps at the Sav-A-Lot (to which he drove in a rusted out '98 Escort with one door wired shut). Which would seem to be your complaint about Obama.
Oh get over it. A friend of mine had a car that had no reverse. He had to throw a tarp over it when it rained so it wouldn't flood out. He's not writing any memoirs...it's about being a poor college kid. Like who isn's?

And God knows that Obama and his citizenship "status" and realtionship to Wright and his "community organizer" ahem, "status" and his history with ACORN have NOT been beaten to death, by MSM. Not yet, at least. And who cares what Messchelle said? It's all cool b/c the messiah has been voted in. Obama is already back-peddling and already KNOWS that he didn't know a damn thing while preaching to...I mean, stumping to...his flock.

Must be nice to win a POTUS election and be so damn clueless that once you are briefed about a few certain issues you have to reneg on your empty promises.

The comedy of it all is that those who voted for him thought he had a clue after no time spent running anything other than his big fat mouth.
