I agree, though not completely. The OP's comments about Gore have no foundation.
As with most who voted for Bush, I too was not completely happy with him, so, as with this past election, I voted against the more socialist of the two candidates.
Barack promises to be the worst president in the past century if not the history of this country. The looming depression will pretty much assure that we will not have to tolerate him for long.

Al Queda is a very patient bunch - they will plan and plan and then strike when they think it is time to strike - not when we think they will...
I am quite sure the reason they have not attacked again is they are not ready yet...
It was almost 10 years between the two World Trade Center attacks...
I think our not suffering another massive attack since 9/11 is far more a function of Al Queda's internal planning than anything that Bush has done...

Al Queda has been attacking since 9/11 just not here in the United States..I think President Bush is a big reason for that. I do think he has kept us safe. I did vote for him twice. He is not perfect, but I think history will show that he is not the moron that everyone thinks he is. I think Obama has changed his tune now that he is privy to all the intelligence that president Bush gets on a daily basis...
