... to Fix Economy, aide says.

Obama will 'do what's necessary' to fix economy, aide says - CNN.com

Excerpt from article:

Quote:
Two Richardson advisers said privately that Richardson had been hoping the State Department leadership post would be his prize after facing political heat for picking Obama over Clinton, but the governor is willing to accept another post in hopes that he will move up in the Cabinet later in the administration.
Move up in the Cabinet later in the administration...just what does he mean by this?

I know how to fix the economy. keep taxes where they are right now. raising taxes right now would be horrible. they need to put a freeze on spending. plain and simple. we have to pay down the national debt.

Does that include ignoring the constitution? In the end he is only one part of the three part governamnt and evrything on the economy has to star with the congress;who have their own agenda.

I think he means he would take something that doesn't get a lot of publicity like Secretary of Commerce, and then want to move up to a more visible position, like head of Homeland Security, or Secretary of State, or Chief of Staff...

Sometimes, y'all just too much trying to anticipate WTF obama is going to do after 1/20/9. How much more energy are you going to waste attempting to direct the unknown? Why don't you just wait, see what he does do? It could relieve a lot of anxiety. Get a life, please.

That reportedly is exactly what one of his team has said;he will not raise taxes until 2011 when Bush's tax cuts runout. But I still wander about his promise to cut middle income taxes.

I sure hate to see Bush's tax cuts become a thing of the past. It caused a $1500 a year increase to my budget. I'm not sure Obama will do anything better.....but who knows?

The quote was about what Richardson was gonna do. You like coming in my threads and getting shirty, don't you? I am starting to wonder if you are a troll instead of my friend.

I think you can rest assured the tax breaks will remain in place till they expire, obama's team seems to have a grip on how the economy is.
