I voted for him because his opposition was a bomb-happy lunatic and a hyper-religious nitwit. I see no reason to regret my vote.

Bush was a "master" at getting other countries to hate us.
So the trade off for eight years without a terrorist attack on the US are countries looking down on us. Is that really a hard choice.

Are other countries going to sudden stop trading with us? Ignore us all together? Hasn't happened yet

I would rather have "less" terrorists period.

Bush's policies increased the number of terrorists by tens of thousands.

We can deal a "few" terrorsts with normal law enforcement.

Bush's policies created a situation which required large "armies" to deal with them.

A warmongering government is a greater threat to the population than overseas terrorists are, although even that obscures the main point, which is that the two exist in symbiosis: each enables the other.

Correct. Those are noble goals...... for european relations.

The Islamic countries that hate us have hated us long before Bush, they will hate us during Obama..... the only way to appease them involves unacceptable policies that no US president will ever sign off on.

So those terrorists who hail from their must be met with force, diplomacy will not work with them.

Except that Ronald Reagan was the governor of the most populous state for 8 years.

Yes, although it didn't begin with Bush. Our psychotic foreign policy since Truman has been making it inevitable.

What's so unacceptable? Staying home and minding our own gd business? That's perfectly acceptable to me.

A huge meteor didn't strike the United States during the past 8 years.

Was Bush responsible for that too?

We give now give credit for things that "didn't" happen?

Could it be, that maybe ... just maybe ... none of the terrorists wanted to strike America after 9/11?

Or for those that did, they would have been captured anyway, by our normal law enforcement procedures, and it had nothing to do with Bush?

How many foreign terrorist attacks happened on US soil during Clinton's 8 years?

Conservatives look for anything possible to praise the worst president in history, George W. Bush.

Anyone would want "fewer" terrorists. How was your trip to the Middle East when you went over there to count up the number of terrorists too?
