For anyone who doubts the truth of this story, here is a link to the U.S. Department of Defense's public website: DefenseLink News Article: President Thanks Veterans For Service During Inaugural Ball And, no, the "Salute to Heroes" inaugural ball, honoring the living recipients of the Medal of Honor, is not the same as the other veterans ball that was canceled this year. The American Legion is one of 15 different organizations that co-sponsor this ball, which has been held every four years since 1953. End of story.
"Legion's media relations manager Craig Roberts wrote, "President Obama was invited but did not attend. Vice-President Joe Biden did appear, however, and was very warmly received. The new President's absence was understandable considering the unprecedented logistical challenges presented by the vastly increased number of visitors to this inauguration and the necessary attendant security measures. The American Legion, as an organization, does not feel offended or 'snubbed.'"
Funny thing about living Medal of Honor recipients, there are fewer and fewer of them every year. At this years ball, there were 48 of the remaining 99. So, do we attend the Commander in Chief's Ball attended by several hundred active duty service members and their families or do we go to the Salute to Heroes ball?
No, but using bailout funds for babies to be slaughtered by way of abortion in three world countries is! Mr. Obama is a MONSTER!!!
