Some shocking stuff. It appears the luster is gone and many are beginning to see the folly in Obama's wild spending plan. But is it too late to stop the deficit busting express train?

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 37% favor the legislation, 43% are opposed, and 20% are not sure."

With the Senate poised to vote Tuesday on an $827-billion version of the economic recovery plan, 62% of U.S. voters want the plan to include more tax cuts and less government spending.

A collapsing economy driven by $1 trillion! deficits and an Iraq in turmoil due to Obama's hasty withdrawal has the making of a disastrous presidency.

Not to fret Bots, the Gallup and CNN Polls released today along with a number of others are not looking real good for how the Republicans are handling themselves with the stimulus. This thread is based on old data and perhaps faulty assumptions. Not sure this is a Tee Hee moment but remember the PM I sent you the other day.

Poll finds Obama more popular than his stimulus package - CNN.com
Three out of four poll respondents said that Obama is doing enough to cooperate with Republicans in Congress, but only 39 percent feel that congressional Republicans are cooperating enough with the president.

Six out of 10 approved of the way Democratic leaders in Congress are handling their jobs. But only 44 percent of those questioned approved of the way Republican leaders in Congress are performing.
