Mitt Romney with his knowledge of the economy.

(With Rudy Guiliani as Attorney General, Oliver North as Secretary of State and Steve Forbes
in at Treasury) .

That actually does not look bad on surface. But They cannot be trusted.

What about Ron Paul? He may be ancient by then, but I guarantee that he'd have more of a chance than 75% of those names you listed.

President for GOP seems lost, but Peter Schiff (CT - preferably unseating Dodd) and Rand Paul (RP's son - KY) for Senate!

Romney. But of course the south will come up with some two-bit Huckabee evangelist again and steal the primaries.

You bet they will. Will this be when a third party arises?

Default Favorite Republican in 2012

Charlie Crist seems like a rational, reasonable guy. Something the GOP has been utterly lacking for the past decade. That will probably deny him any chance at the nomination in 2012.

best Republican for 2012? hopefully a dead one! (i'm kidding!) but out of that list Crist is a very moderate Republican.

I wonder what kind of a dowry they expect?

We'll happily pay shipping on him wherever they'd like to have him, even if we have to use two boxes.

On the other hand, a Palin/ Sanford ticket would be mightily appealing. Mightily.
