Mitt Romney. Someone with ACTUAL fiscal management experience. I still strongly believe that the country is best run by those with experience; not those who can read a teleprompter with tremendous accuracy.

I hope Jindal gets the nomination in 2012. Then, in order would be Paul, Romney, and HUckabee. Paul is great to have as a rep from Texas because he's pushing Congress to start auditing the Fed and he would like to see the Fair Tax become a reality. Unfortunately, Paul has no chance of becoming president. He's not tall enough and his voice is squeaky and he is pretty old. These traits will never get you elected unfortunately. I like Jindal because he has, from what I've read, done a great job as governor of Louisiana. The state historically has had one of the highest unemployment rates but now has one of the lowest in the country. Jindal because of his youth and charisma may be able to appeal to the young vote as well as minorities...something McCain had absolutely no success with. Some of the above options are pretty awful. No way would I want Guiliani, Crist, or Jeb Bush(no more of the Bush dynasty please...enough already)or MacCain. I have no interest in Sarah Palin getting the nomination either. Obama would destroy her in an election.

A rather odd list - because Mike Huckabee is the exact opposite of Paul.

Huckabee is a social conservative and economic moderate, while Paul is an economic conservative and social moderate (if it wasn't for his views on abortion he'd be an all out social liberal).

The Republicans I know are universal in calling Huckabee a "RINO", more than any other GOP politician in the country, due to his Dem-like economic policies.

I want to see the pencil-neck geek, Jindal as the candidate. Anyone who watched him give the Republican address after President Obama hasn't stopped laughing. He frankly looks very effeminate the way he swings his head like Howdy Dowdy; almost as Elmer Fudd as Bush. Only the Republicans can produce such nerds & why they will remain in the cellar for many many years. What a joke

From what I've seen so far I'm pretty happy with Obama.

I'm a Democrat, and I'm still hoping Obama pulls us out of this mess, but I chose Charlie Crist for this poll since it asked about Republican candidates. I thought about voting for McCain until he chose Palin as a running mate and the 2 of them ran that hate fest and he talked about little fishes swimming around oil rigs.

What happened to that dark skinned guy from Louisiana? How come he's not on your list? Too dark skinned for your tastes?
