Good point. Plus, I just don't think Romney has the right personality. He's not very likable. He's too much the politician... in the bad way.

Mitt Romney voting record:

Mitt Romney on Mass Scorecard

Are Republicans going to vote for the pretty boy like the Democrats? On this voting record he voted against the Republican Party and with the Democrats on all but one vote.

Romney is a used car salesman who was born into wealth and power (daddy was a governor, cabinet member and a wealthy businessman) so he sold BS instead of cars. Of all the candidates last year, he was the worst, even worse than Guiliani. What I didn't get was how anyone actually liked him, it was obvious that he was just saying stuff to be elected and his experience as governor of Mass. was a good indication of his true feelings on policy. He looks good in a suit and his business experience makes him good at addressing a crowd, but in the debates you could tell how everything was written out and he had trouble with anything that wasn't a talking point.

I like Rep Paul Ryan (WI) but he isn't a front runner.

Well, you left some off the list. John Kasich is running for Ohio Governor, and it appears that Strickland is not interested in a second term (so far) so John's chances are good. What is his strategy? Don't know. Maybe a stepping stone to a Presidential run.

Kasich is outstanding and well respected. Some of you know him from his Fox News "Stories from the heartland" or is it "News from the heartland"? At any rate, former state Rep. Kasich is really good. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. Maybe Palin as VP???? Who knows?

There are some choices. There is hope (not Obamas kind of "hope").

One thing we know for sure: We must get rid of Obama, who is possibly the worst President in American History.

Substitute "Reagan" for "Obama" and the Republicans on this forum sound exactly like Democrats in 1981.

It'll take some time for the GOP to get its **** together again just like it took the Dems some time to get their **** together in the '80s. But the Republicans will assuredly get rid of their crazies just like the Dems got rid of theirs, and probably retake at least one house of Congress in 2014 and the Presidency in 2016.

If Palin somehow became president in 2012, then it would be a sure sign that the Mayans knew when the earth would end.
