It appears to be a three-way race between former White House hopeful Mitt Romney, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, and Mike Huckabee — also an ex-presidential aspirant. Romney stands at 26 percent in the new survey, compared to 21 percent for Palin, and 19 percent for Huckabee.
3 years away means things will change a ton before then.
Huckabee I do not think is even interested so the poll is useless.
If Newt runs and I think and hope he will, he will be the nominee.
He waited this last one out for a reason ( He knew Obama was a economic disaster coming ) and believes that Obama and this dem controlled congress will put a Rep into the WH in 2012.
I see Romney as a key player and Palin as a huge crowd drawing person but I do not think either could beat Newt if he decides to run.
The poll forgot something I think.
Something tells me that Liz Cheney will be a key player also. Super intelligent and can stand toe to toe with anyone, she just might be a big surprise someday.
For someone to post that the GOP is a mess I have to laugh, the dem party is a total mess right now, even Obama and Biden are not on the same page on anything.
With many dems seperating themselves from Obama because they are worried he might cost them their jobs in 2010, I can see problems within the dem party.
Poll also confirms people are stupid. Is this all you can talk about right now? Trying to hide the fact that the economy is getting worse under the democrats? Try doing soemthing productive instead of taking solice in the opposition's lack of candidates and ideas. it makes you look as ignorant as they supposedly are.
I like the Arizona Congressman John Shadegg - I live on the other side of the country but keep seeing his name connected with issues of interest and I'm impressed with him.

You think wrong. He is plenty interested.

based on that poll, this conservative will probably vote for a third party again. The only one of those 3 Id even consider is Huck. Im hoping John Thune gets in the mix
I can also see Bobby Jindal and/or Tim Pawlenty running in 2012. Honestly, I think that the best chance for the Republicans to win is Mitt Romney. First, the Religious Right have to be willing to vote for a Mormon. Not sure why it's an issue but it is...
Hillarious. Let's regroup in 2011 and see where it stands.
