Wishful thinking. Anyone who thinks Obamas supporters will switch to republicans, even after him not following through on multiple promises is delusional. Why? Because many of them were not so much as voting 'Obama in', but rather Bush/Republicans out.

He did not win the election because of grandiose ideals, he won it because Bush made such a mess, and the republicans either backed bush (or vice versa) on most of the crappy decisions that put America in its current position. The people arent goint to re-elect the party that they feel caused all their problems out of disappointment the new party hasnt solved them.

Maybe a new party will emerge. Probably not, but maybe.

i am not so sure they won't change their votes if their problems are worse, and clearly unemployment and foreclosures are up. those are real people impacted and unemployment benefits are scheduled to run out for 1.5 million people at the end of this year. if things don't turn around, voters will punish the party that spent this much money to such little effect.

Obama followers here have stated that Obama is right and the CBO is wrong. The way they think is amazing.

Obama "says" he will balance the budget and people are to believe that?

Impossible with his spending. He has already made to many mistakes with our money.

He has no realistic plan on how to pay off what HE charged. Sure, if you increase the spending by 4 times, then cut it by 2 it looks like a cut. THAT"S STILL SPENDING MORE THAN BEFORE. Wake up people!

Remember his campaign promise "I will run the WH like you run your household budget". What happened to that promise.

None of us can spend more then we make and he is spending more then we can make in 100 years.

Obama went from a claim of creating millions of jobs to "saving" jobs. There is no measure for saving jobs. The number they make up is based off of spend x dollars = save y jobs. It's made up crap. We have lost a record number of jobs on OBAMA'S watch, because of HIS bad policies. The exact OPPOSITE of what he promised.

You notice that also? They do not talk about job creation anymore. Robert Gibbs, the red headed fool who does his talking is now saying Obama is saving jobs. From what?

They are losing more jobs in months then most President did in years.

Watch them spin this jobs crap around. Biden is now saying they are saving millions of jobs that would have been gone if they had not spent all this money. LIAR!

So far, Obama-Biden are NEGATIVE 1 million jobs in the HOLE.

What happened to the 5 million NEW jobs?

Obama promised that if we hurried up and passed this urgent spend package, that he then waited four days to sign, unemployment would get no worse than 8%.

It will hit 12 or 13 percent soon thanks to his screw ups.

He said without passing this bill that he did not want us to, nor allowed us to read first, unemployment would tip out at 9%. Well now we are 9.5% and rising. Obama's policies are making the situation worse, as predicted by anyone who knows anything about economics or bothers to study history IE Jimmy Carter disaster. We have lost a record number of jobs on OBAMA'S watch, because of HIS bad policies. The exact OPPOSITE of what he promised.

Here is a fact. If Bush did exactly as Obama is doing, the libs would be tearing him to shreds. But because it is Obama, it is now oki doki. Libs are so phony and they actually think they are fooling us.

Here is another fact. As much as the libs want to live in their make believe land, many independents and some democrats are now waking up. This is the reason that Obama is in NEGATIVE approval rating territory on his policies. That means the MAJORITY of America DOES NOT LIKE his policies. The only positive rating he has now is for his personality and people are waking up to his phoniness now.

It's all downhill for Obama now. People are coming out of their history making coma and are sorry for their big mistake.
I called it first.

Obama was the biggest mistake in American political history.

And we are going to pay dearly for it.

No tax increase on the middle class.
Now he wants to pass cap & trade which he admits will raise your utility bills by a large percentage. This means you are paying a tax, without it being called a tax. It also means that everything you need to buy will cost more. That doesn't help the middle class.

Close down Gitmo.
That was not really truthful, as he is now using another detention facility. A bit of smoke an mirrors there. Do Obama supporters ever pay attention to facts or do they just believe what they are spoon fed?

Will govern from the middle, taking input from Republicans.
NOT. Republicans have been shut out of discussions and we now know Obama is governing from the fringe far left. What ever happened to letting everyone review everything in a bill for at least a week before a vote is taken? Oh, that wouldn't work when trying to pass a far left agenda. You don't want people to see what's actually in the bill.

Will support the same rights for ALL people.
Refuses to support a FULL gay rights policy, including marriage rights. Last time I checked, denying gays marriage rights is a form of discrimination.

I could go on and on. If you supported Obama on what he campaigned on, how can you support him when he governs by the opposite of what he promised? Admit it, either you can no longer support him or you really can't think for yourselves and you will support him no matter what he says or does, even if he is flip flopping on promises.

Anyone questioning why Obama has quadrupled the deficit in 6 months and has never mentioned how we will ever pay this stuff off? What if a Republican did this? Wouldn't the libs be upset? But their side does it 4 times worse then the Republicans and all of a sudden it is allowed?

GAME, SET, MATCH!!! The real Obama has been unmasked. This is the reason why his popularity is falling fast. When you are dishonest, people stop trusting you.

Why are you all so darn repetetive? It's like a broken record playing over, and over, and over, and over. Stop it, you sound like morons. You republicans had your chance, and we didn't like it. Now it is our turn, and if you don't like it, well, that's too stinkin bad, suck it up.

You haven't followed politics very long have you? I don't think there's ever been a president who's kept 2/3 of his promises

No he hasn't.

Do you ever grow up or are all your posts full of childish partisan rage?

Seriously. I'd like to have an adult conversation and all you do is loft Hannity-esque hyperbole.
