Specter was a tough old bird in the town hall meeting the other day.... he set the rules, let people talk and kept the place mostly in order...calm and unfazeable straight through

Good. Let him move to Iowa. He's an embarrassment.

I particularly like Thomas Schaller's "7 pieces of advice for Santorum". (From "The War Room").
  1. Please run for president, Rick.
  2. Please "amplify your voice" by taking a higher profile in the Republican Party.
  3. Please distinguish your presidential campaign by staking out strong, unequivocal socially-conservative positions on abortion, evolution, gay rights, global warming and so on.
  4. Please rally the birthers, the health care protesters, the CUFI crowd, and related fringe groups to your side as one big, merry band of crusaders.
  5. Please win the 2012 Republican nomination.
  6. Please pluck television talk show host and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin from non-obscurity by tapping her to be your vice presidential running mate.
  7. Oh, and yeah: Please be gracious during your election night concession speech.
Good times coming. With this idiot "raising his profile" and the "WWF Smackdown" coming between Crist and Rubio in FL, it'll be a lot of fun over the next few years.

How come you sheeple follow every word of the Comedian Leaders of the Democrat Party?

The citizens of the Great State Of South Carolina would like to propose Mark Sanford as Secretary of State for a Santorum/Palin administration.

He has served as governor here with distinction, and is a proven master of foreign affairs.

We'll let him go cheap if you act now.

>>> He had guts to take on the public knowing he was going to get kicked around that way. I'll give him credit for toughness, but he's still arrogant in thinking he had some chance of holding his own on this issue. His poll numbers falling apart shows this.

Oh my gosh. That's the best laugh I've had for awhile. Thanks. ROTFL.

Specter is a spineless joke. He switched parties b/c he knew Toomey would destroy him in the GOP primary. There was a Rasmussen poll released today with Toomey up 12 against Specter by 12 in the general! Toomey is a STRONG candidate!

As much as I disagree with his beliefs, I'd love to see Sestak take Specter out in the (D) primary (which is possible).

Toomey is a Santorum clone and when the people remember who he is or find out what he is, they'll turn to Specter (if he wins the Democratic primary).
