Well first of all i didnt vote for him. But I still hoped he could shock us and be a decent President, the very first thing that put the red flag up on obama was on his very 1st day in office January 21, 2009, Obama signed Executive Order 13489. This order was entered into the Federal Register on January 26, 2009.
What this executive order says, is that only the Attorney General (Eric Holder) and Council to the President, (Gregory Craig) are able to review presidential records requests and determine if they can be made public or not. (See Section 3)
In other words, you aren’t going to see any records or documents that Obama doesn’t want you to see.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Obama’s first official act was to deny access to his records. Obama has lived for 48 years without leaving any footprints—none! There is no Obama documentation—no bona fides—no paper trail—nothing.

So? One of George Bushs' first acts was to change how Presidential documents were released too. Did you complain about that?
Before Bush, the director of the Federal Archives made the decisions about what to release and what not to. He was required to "notify" ex-Presidents, or their heirs, that he intended to do it, but their only recourse was to try and talk him out of it.
Under Bushs' directive, he not only had to notify them, but the sitting President, any former President or their heirs had to approve of the release or it could not happen. They had veto power over the release.
That's why you never saw all the Bill and Hillary stuff. Bush protected them.

Well...since you're complaining about Obama's changes to releasing Presidential documents, I was just curious to know if you complained about the changes Bush made too.
If you didn't, it calls the motivation for your outrage into question, wouldn't you think?

we are headed towards further depreciation of our dollar. we are fighting 2 wars now that we can't afford. we have no transparency whatsoever, even less now. GM won't even release their information, although the government is now the majority owner. the federal reserve and wall street are operating with impunity, after having confiscated giant bonuses through the taxpayers. our debt is far greater than under the bush administration, yet employment is lower.
bush was a disaster, but obama is taking us down the wrong course faster........

This is all true. Worse, those who did try to warn were dismissed as liars and racists. They even denied his connection (association) with Wiliam Ayers and Bernadine Dorn, American terrorists from the 60's. They didn't believe his association with ACORN (now painfully clear ... what did they think a "Community Organizer" was; just a title he gave to himself?).
This man and his associates, who are advising him daily on everything from national security to how to manage your health care, are the most dangerous people to America, and to our freedom that we have ever had in high places in our entire history, and we have had some bad people before. The country is being run by garden variety thugs! These people have no interest in your freedom. They are interested only in implementing their agenda, which is to turn America into just another Socialist/Marxist society, with a class system, the ruling elite, and the serfs (us).
Records will show he has paid out over 2 million dollars to keep his personal information from being released.
He has a team of attorney's who have been working on this for a very long time.
He must really have something to hide to pay out 2 million to keep everything so secret.
The DNC has also been a part of keeping his information secret, which to me is very fishy in itself.
My answer to the question is people just do not trust the man. They gave him a chance and he has failed them. They were supporting him because of all of his promises to change Washington and instead of changing it to the better he has made it far worse.
His lack of transparency and spending which he promised not to do are two of the main reasons people are no longer supporting him.
I believe with the recent lies about health care from Obama you will see even more people losing faith in him and no longer supporting anything he does.
Lots of book deals in the making if Obama tanks; people will talk for cash; what bothers is that what we know about is one thing, what scares is what the administration is doing that the public does not know about.
