Rush Wants To Buy Into The NFL. Democrats Tell Him He Can't.

Rush never said anything racial.

If Obama wanted to buy a football team, would he be able to do so?

Even after he spent 20 years in a racially biased church in Chicago?

Should the fact that Barack is a Socialist exempt him from becoming an owner of a NFL team?

Well, Rush has the money, and he loves football, and he's an American.

Is the left so fu*ked up that they have to go after investment in America?

Mark Cuban is an ULTRA LIBERAL, he owns the Mavericks.

Why isn't anyone screaming about his ownership of that team?

Does the NFL endorse abortion as much as Mark Cuban does?
Does the NFL endorse gay marriage like Cuban does?

Does the NBA have the same standards? If so, Mark Cuban, Democrat billionaire should not be able to have a share of ownership in a major team.

Rush never, ever said anything racial. He is being painted by the left as an enemy of the state. The socialist state.

Rush should not be allowed to buy gum. He's a racist.
Rush should not be allowed to buy popcorn. He's a racist.

The Left is out of options. And will demonize anyone.

I'm tired of it. And these rainbow chasers will see at the end of their bongs, an America that will vote out all of their Democratic leaders in Washington.

Rush never said anything racial? Yea saying the only reason anyone likes Donovan McNabb is because they want to see more black quarterbacks has nothing to do with race. And personally I don't care whether he buys the team or not. All I know is the Rams would be my least favorite team behind Dallas, the Giants and Washington. A controversal zealot like him would probably reduce their fanbase and make a failing franchise even weaker.

People who believe Rush never said anything racial are the same people who don't understand why the GOP has fallen out of favor. When will the GOP learn?

When did the democrats tell him he couldn't purchase the Rams?

I love the fact that Rush says what he wants and he is deemed a martyr in this..

yet those who actually oppose (with their voice and nothing else) him buying the team.. they are bad!

I guess its free speech only if its from the right hand side..

Personally sounds like Limbaugh's bidness partner screwed him over by dropping him..

What Rush said about McNabb has taken out of context, even I know that there has only been a very few if any black successful QB's in the NFL.

If you have a list that proves me wrong then I will listen, but McNabb has been in the league a long time and good for him, but he has never won anything and has not accomplished anything other then surviving in a league that black QB just do not last in or become successful.

Rush is not a racist person at all, sure he says some goofy things but he is personally not a racist person.

I posted in the other thread that Rush is ranting about his loss on his show now. I'm loving it. They tricked him into thinking he would let the public know of his loss first but at the airport last night the news of his loss was the NEWS. The embarrassment is killing him. He is really put the blame on two well know preachers. Guess who??

This has nothing to do with politics, left or right. Rush Limbough long ago decided to be a controversial figure and the NFL wants to avoid controversy as much as it can. I am sure they wouldn't Bill Mahrer or Michael Moore as team owners as well.

Rush needs to stop being such a complete hypocrite over this and take responsiblity. He chose to be what he is, and unfortunately that comes with certain consequences. He needs to stop blaming the liberal media and man up.

GWhopper great post at 2:32 pm. Your second paragraph is sums it up very well.

Bill Maher would really cause some controversy.

Thanks! I can understand the NFL's stance on this. Look at what's going on now. The Rams are 0 and 5 for this season and have lost their last 15 games in a row. In the last 37 games they've played, they've only won 5. That should be the big story when you look up the Rams in the news, not a minor partner in an ownership bid. Now Rush is going on his radio show and stroking the publicity flames even higher and keeping this story going in the news, which is exactly what the NFL doesn't want to see happen with people in leadership positions within their franchises. He's just proving they were right in excluding him.
