New poll numbers from Florida's high-profile Republican Senate primary race add credence to the theory that the only way Gov. Charlie Crist will win the seat is by switching parties.

The firm Public Policy Polling released findings on Tuesday showing conservative darling Marco Rubio with a jaw-dropping 32-point lead (62 percent to 28 percent) among Florida Republican voters.

I hope Rubio wins, with a bunch of blood and teeth lost in the process.

Crist is not only gay, he supported Obama. While I realize the GOP is full of closeted gays, it was his support of Obama that made this Teabagger named Rubio so immensely popular.

The Florida GOP has wreaked havoc on this nation over the past 10 years. I'm not surprised someone reasonable like Crist is being steamrolled

If you believe the polls, Rubio is a shoe-in for the Republican nomination. When or if Crist drops out of the primary and runs as an Independent, It will completely change the dynamics of the Nov. race. Should be interesting.

The latest polls show things getting much closer as far as a race between Rubio and Meek.
