All the crying wolf racism in the world can't stop people wanting the establishment out and real change in.

It's Kentucky and 6% is closer than I would have thought. Let Rand keep talking and he'll be down soon enough.

He basically did all he could to hurt himself. The anti-illegal immigration message is resonating with Kentuckians. Also, the anti-politically correct movement is strong in this state.

Yep, you are seeing that correctly. People are getting tired of illegals and are tired of being afraid to speak thier minds because they will be called racist.

No, he's still running his mouth which is great for his opponent months away from an election that shouldn't have even been close without Rand showing how radical his beliefs are.

Paul also received less votes in the republican primary than his opponent in the democratic primary.

PolitiFact | Kentucky Democrats got more votes than Republican Rand Paul, DNC chair says

"In the Republican primary, Paul -- the son of 2008 presidential candidate Ron Paul -- received almost 207,000 votes, easily defeating McConnell's preferred candidate, Grayson.

Conway, meanwhile, received almost 229,000 votes in the Democratic primary. Second-place finisher Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo received 225,000 votes.

Overall, almost 170,000 more people voted in the Democratic primary than the Republican primary, according to the state's board of elections."

You never know what might happen between now and election day. When will you all learn to stop counting your chickens before they hatch?

Wait till they start asking Rand about his thoughts on Social Security and Medicare.

He's in hiding right now but he'll need to surface sooner or later.

I love when hardcore Libertarian economic theory meets head on with American's feeling toward their entitlement programs.

Bug meet windshield.

There are very few states besides Kentucky which have enough rednecks and hillbillies to give Paul any chance at all. And even in a backward state like Kentucky that neanderthal is ahead by only six points.
If he continues to open his mouth and express his beliefs frankly and honestly, he'll drop in the polls.

In any case I wouldn't take Kentucky, or Paul, seriously.

Do you work for MSNBC?

2008 Election

Republican
Primary - May 20, 2008
Candidate Name Vote Percent
Mitch McConnell 167,934 86.1%
Daniel Essek 27,154 13.9%

Democratic
Primary - May 20, 2008
Candidate Name Vote Percent
Bruce Lunsford 316,723 51.1%
Greg Fischer 209,704 33.9%

Final Result of the 2008 elections
Mitch McConnell R 53.0%
Bruce Lunsford D 47.0%

McConnell (R) 25 years as Senator
Bunning (R) 11 years as Senator

Maybe it's you who needs to quit running your mouth. Kentucky has voted Republican for their Senators the last 11 years.

Follow the election and learn about the candidates. Trey Grayson was clobbered in the Republican primary because Kentuckians disliked him lying about Rands positions. Now Conway is doing the same thing. Thanks for helping Jack, lol.
